Inspection Included Interior -Exterior Check
- Condition of exterior electrical enclosures, main electrical panel and/or wiring

- Loose wire connections
- Exposed and or double lugging of wires
- Voltage and amperages @ service, verify disconnects and meters are rated properly
- Pool pump and equipment bonding to include screened enclosures, gutters, hand rails, fences, all metal parts, etc.
- Broken fixtures, devices, cover, etc.
Panels and circuit breaker check to include the following
- Manufacture and condition of the equipment
- Location and/or correct installation for the environment which installed

- Verify voltage and amperages
- Miss matching of circuit breakers
- Proper wire size installed per circuit breaker rating
- Loose wire connections
- Double lugging
- Exposed wiring
- Open KO’ s (box knockout openings) or missing breaker blanks
- Cables installed w/ no connectors
Device Check List
- Smoke / CO (carbon monoxide) detectors, installed location, age of device or recommendation for installation
- GFCI / AFCI device testing where installed or recommendation for installation to include proper location
- Device polarity and grounding
- Device prong retention. Is the device worn out?
- Missing or broken device plates
- Proper installation for location type, including covers
Misc. Check List
- Wire mold. If applicable, is there a ground wire installed?
- Use of extension cords or tap devices, recommendation if additional devices be installed
- Water heaters, which should be hardwired with a disconnect switch
- Ensuring that equipment requiring disconnects are within site of the equipment
